Kéré Architecture coalesces architecture and heritage in the design of the Centre des Cultures et Spiritualités Ewés in Notsè, Togo

-Programs are distributed across fluid, low-rise buildings interspersed with planted patios, enhancing natural airflow and integration with the landscape.
-Primary construction material is red laterite brick, locally sourced, durable, and well-adapted to the regional climate.
-The building’s footprint traces the path of the ancient wall, incorporating traditional Ewé paving motifs made from pottery shards, referencing sacred and ceremonial spaces.
-Natural light shafts embedded in the ceilings provide ambient, filtered lighting within the exhibition areas.
