Hollywood Curry Baker Psychological Thriller Movie
Directed, written and edited by Curry Barker, Obsession centres on Bear, a lonely music store employee played by Michael Johnston, who desperately wants to win over his crush, Nikki, portrayed by Inde Navarrette.
His life changes after he comes across a mysterious novelty toy known as the One Wish Willow. After making a wish, Bear discovers that getting everything he wants comes with consequences far darker than he ever imagined.
The film also stars Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless and comedian Andy Richter in key roles.

Obsession has emerged as one of the biggest horror success stories of the year. The film first premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival where it received an enthusiastic response.
Made on a reported budget of just $750,000, the horror thriller went on to become an unexpected box office sensation as it grossed more than $400 million worldwide. The film's remarkable performance has also turned 26-year-old filmmaker Curry Barker into one of Hollywood's most closely watched new directors.
