കിറ്റെക്സ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുന്ന ട്വൻ്റി20 പാർട്ടി ബിജെപി നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള നാഷണൽ ഡെമോക്രാറ്റിക് അലയൻസിൽ (എൻഡിഎ) ചേർന്നത് കേരള രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിൽ പുതിയ ചലനങ്ങൾ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. പരമ്പരാഗതമായി എൽഡിഎഫും യുഡിഎഫും മാറിമാറി ഭരിക്കുന്ന കേരളത്തിൽ, ഈ നീക്കം ഒരു മൂന്നാം ബദൽ ശക്തിക്ക് സാധ്യത തുറക്കുന്നു എന്ന് വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെടുന്നു.
ട്വൻ്റി20 എൻഡിഎയിൽ ചേർന്നതിനെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുന്ന സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ താഴെ പറയുന്നവയാണ്:
വികസന രാഷ്ട്രീയം: പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയുടെ 'വികസിത ഭാരതം' എന്ന കാഴ്ചപ്പാടും, ബിജെപിയുടെ 'വികസിത കേരളം' എന്ന മുദ്രാവാക്യവും ട്വൻ്റി20 പാർട്ടിയുടെ വികസനാധിഷ്ഠിത രാഷ്ട്രീയവുമായി ചേർന്നുപോകുന്നതായി പാർട്ടി ചെയർമാൻ സാബു എം. ജേക്കബ് അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു. ഒറ്റയ്ക്ക് നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് വികസന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ മുന്നോട്ട് കൊണ്ടുപോകാൻ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാണെന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞതായും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
എൽഡിഎഫ്-യുഡിഎഫ് വിരുദ്ധത: കഴിഞ്ഞ തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകളിൽ ട്വൻ്റി20-യെ പരാജയപ്പെടുത്താൻ എൽഡിഎഫും യുഡിഎഫും ഒരുമിച്ച് അവിശുദ്ധ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയെന്ന് സാബു എം. ജേക്കബ് ആരോപിച്ചു. ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ, ഇരു മുന്നണികളെയും എതിർക്കാൻ ഒരു ദേശീയ മുന്നണിയുടെ ഭാഗമാകുന്നത് അനിവാര്യമാണെന്ന് പാർട്ടി വിലയിരുത്തി.
സംഘടനാപരമായ തിരിച്ചടികൾ: ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ തദ്ദേശ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകളിൽ പാർട്ടിക്കുണ്ടായ തിരിച്ചടികളും (പ്രധാന പഞ്ചായത്തുകളിലെ ഭരണം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടത്) ഒരു ദേശീയ സഖ്യത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാകാൻ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ച ഘടകങ്ങളായി രാഷ്ട്രീയ നിരീക്ഷകർ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിക്കുന്നു.
ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വോട്ട് ബാങ്ക്: കിറ്റെക്സ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ഒരു യാക്കോബായ സമുദായത്തിൽ വേരുകളുള്ള സ്ഥാപനമായതിനാൽ, ട്വൻ്റി20-യുടെ വരവ് എറണാകുളം, കോട്ടയം, ഇടുക്കി, പത്തനംതിട്ട, തൃശൂർ തുടങ്ങിയ ജില്ലകളിലെ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വോട്ട് ബാങ്കിൽ, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് യുഡിഎഫിന്റെ പരമ്പരാഗത വോട്ടുകളിൽ, സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്തുമെന്ന് എൻഡിഎ കണക്കാക്കുന്നു.
ത്രികോണ മത്സരം: ട്വൻ്റി20-യുടെ സാന്നിധ്യം എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലെ കുറുപ്പംപടി, കുന്നത്തുനാട്, പെരുമ്പാവൂർ, മൂവാറ്റുപുഴ തുടങ്ങിയ മണ്ഡലങ്ങളിൽ നിലവിലെ ഇരുമുന്നണികൾക്കും ശക്തമായ വെല്ലുവിളിയാകും.
ചുരുക്കത്തിൽ, കേരളത്തിലെ പരമ്പരാഗത മുന്നണി രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിൽ മനംമടുത്ത വികസനം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന വോട്ടർമാരെ ആകർഷിക്കാനും, എൽഡിഎഫ്-യുഡിഎഫ് ആധിപത്യം തകർക്കാനും ഈ സഖ്യത്തിലൂടെ സാധിക്കുമെന്ന് ഇരുപാർട്ടികളും പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

Triangular contest: The presence of Twenty20 will be a strong challenge to both the current fronts in constituencies like Kurupampadi, Kunnathunad, Perumbavoor and Moovatupuzha in Ernakulam district.
In short, both parties hope that this alliance will be able to woo voters who are fed up with traditional front politics in Kerala and break the LDF-UDF hegemony.
