You might be wondering how we ended up in Utrecht city center all of a sudden 🤔

No, we weren't thinking about moving at all. But through Marianne's job we heard that the .kampenutrecht was looking for building managers in Utrecht, since the university is moving there from Kampen. We had an interview and here we are! We feel so blessed by the opportunity they gave us to live in Utrecht city center 😊

Here I felt HOME!
Being one of the few non-Western people visiting the Waddeneilanden (Dutch islands), I was so happy to find an Indian restaurant. We were on a holiday with our Dutch family in such a Dutch place and I all of a sudden felt pretty much the odd one. We ordered a little, just to feel some comfort. And then the Indian owner brought us several things we didn't even order and didn't let us pay in the end. She made my day 😎
