Andrew, a 22 year old, is stranded back at home in New Jersey with his family after just graduating from college and has no clear plan for his future. But if there's one thing that belongs on his nonexistent résumé, it's how to get a party started, which lands him the perfect job of motivational dancing at the bar and bat mitzvahs for his younger brother's classmates. When Andrew befriends a local mom, Domino, and her daughter, Lola, he finally discovers a future he wants--even if it might not be his own. Cooper Raiff writes, directs, and stars alongside Dakota Johnson, Brad Garrett, Leslie Mann, and newcomers Vanessa Burghardt and Evan Assante in this tale of unconventional love that brims with emotional honesty.

"Cha Cha Real Smooth" is primarily a tale of how we learn more about ourselves as we grow older. The film demonstrates that there is nothing wrong with settling for less than ideal. The process of coming to that realisation is completely charming, humorous, embarrassing, and difficult. This drama is quirky and touching, and it hinges on magnetic central performances from Raiff, Johnson, and Mann. The soundtrack and cinematography create a warm and happy mood throughout the film. Personally, I really enjoyed it. It is so relaxing and refreshing.

Thirty years after serving together in the Vietnam War, Larry "Doc" Shepherd, Sal Nealon and the Rev. Richard Mueller reunite for a different type of mission: to bury Doc's son, a young Marine killed in Iraq. Forgoing burial at Arlington National Cemetery, Doc and his old buddies take the casket on a bittersweet trip up the coast to New Hampshire. Along the way, the three men find themselves reminiscing and coming to terms with the shared memories of a war that continues to shape their lives.

Despite the serious subject matter, this movie is absolutely hilarious. Cranston is absolute comedic gold. He hasn't been as funny as he is here since his Malcolm in the Middle days, and even then he may not have been quite as funny as he is here.

You would think going in that Carell would be the comedian here, but instead, he is the dramatic anchor. Carell gives a surprisingly emotional performance, keeping the comedy to a minimum.

Really loved this movie, it makes you feel like you're one of the buddies going on this trip with them. It's hilarious and moving and the acting is phenomenal. I'm really surprised it doesn't have a higher rating, it feels like it's a wonderful classic. Definitely watch it!

Los Angeles, 1928. Single mother Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie) returns from work to find her nine-year-old son Walter (Gattlin Griffith) gone. She calls the L.A.P.D. to initiate a search. Five months later, a boy is found in Illinois who fits the description, and he says he's her son. To fanfare and photos, the L.A.P.D. reunite mother and son, but she insists he's not her boy. The cops dismiss her as either a liar or hysterical. And she decided to fight to bring justice for her son.

It is based on a true story that takes place in 1928 L.A. The film is about police corruption in L.A. in the late 1920s. The film is emotionally gripping, and at times disturbing. The main aspect of the movie is the powerful performance of Angelina Jolie, the mother of the missing child. The photography, production design, and costume really give a view of L.A. in the 1920s. Another Interesting factor is the music score which is done by none other than the director himself, the music didn't overpower the scene, it is very subtle and gives great dominance to the character's emotions.

In 1962, journalist Chow Mo-wan and his wife move into a Hong Kong apartment, but Chow's spouse is often away on business. Before long, the lonely Chow makes the acquaintance of the alluring Su Li-Zhen, whose own significant other also seems preoccupied with work. As the two friends realize their respective partners are cheating on them, they begin to fall for one another; however, neither want to stoop to the level of the unfaithful spouses.

The relationship between Chow and Su is platonic, but as time passes, they acknowledge that they have developed feelings for each other. When Chow takes a job in Singapore, he asks Su to go with him. She decides to do so but arrives too late at the hotel to accompany him.

Platonic love in its modern popular sense is an affectionate relationship into which the sexual element does not enter, especially in cases where one might easily assume otherwise. Platonic lovers function to underscore a supportive role where the friend sees [their] duty as the provision of advice, encouragement, and comfort to the other person ... and do not entail exclusivity.

Chow Mo-wan: In the old days, if someone had a secret they didn't want to share... you know what they did?Ah Ping: Have no idea.Chow Mo-wan: They went up a mountain, found a tree, carved a hole in it, and whispered the secret into the hole. Then they covered it with mud. And leave the secret there forever.Ah Ping: What a pain! I'd just go to get laid.Chow Mo-wan: Not everyone's like you.

In the Mood is a love story told from the point of impact, at the heart, and no conventional resolution could be more profound. One of the most beautiful, romantic films of all time. It's intelligently conceived, exquisitely crafted, and flawlessly acted.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer is a 2017 psychological thriller film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, from a screenplay by Lanthimos and Efthymis Filippou. It stars Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Barry Keoghan, Raffey Cassidy, Sunny Suljic, Alicia Silverstone, and Bill Camp. The story is based on the ancient Greek tragedy Iphigenia at Aulis by Euripides. In the myth, Agamemnon, leader of the Greek army against Troy, accidentally kills a deer in one of Artemis's sacred fields. He is told by a seer that he must kill his eldest daughter, Iphigenia, in exchange, and his commanders pressure him into sacrificing her. In some tellings, she is killed; in others, she is transported elsewhere, replaced at the last moment with a deer/goat by Artemis. Some versions have her deified by Artemis after being transported.

Wong Chi-ming, a cold-blooded Hong-Kong-based assassin, has decided that he wants out. One last job stands in the way of a new life; however, Wong is unaware that his female partner-in-crime is utterly infatuated with him. Then, Wong has a late-night encounter with seductive Blondie in a fast-food restaurant, only to spark his obsessed partner's jealousy. Elsewhere in the city, mute Ho Chi-mo, who has recently escaped from prison, uses unorthodox ways to eke out an existence. During one of his nightly escapades, Ho crosses paths with Charlie, who enlists his help to find her ex-boyfriend's new lover. But, can there be redemption for the fallen angels?
// "I have heard people say everything has its expiration date. I wasn't sure this would apply to her and johnny, but i thought it might soon." //

One thing is for sure - it is everything you have seen before and nothing like anything you have seen before. The film is Wong's most visually striking, with Wong and Doyle constantly inventing intoxicating new angles for every shot. A brilliantly innovative filmmaker who gets his feelings across through the cheeky and sometimes surreal visuals and his cool style of filmmaking. An exhilarating rush!

The Office (2005-2013)

Office is something that helped me to get through 2020. I know it's too late, but I found this show at the perfect time, when my life was falling apart. Like most of you, 2020 was a rough year for me too. And office was the best therapy I could get. I was a huge F.R.I.E.N.D.S (1994–2004) fan, and was of the belief that nothing could replace it's place in my heart, but all of it changed after watching office. I'm not saying this is better than Friends. Both are incomparable. Both are different, in many ways.

During the lockdown, I was mentally exhausted. I couldn't watch a show or read a book, everything bored me. That's when a friend told me about the office. I only remember starting it, and then, I was madly into it. That show was like a part of me. Every day I woke up just to watch the next episode. I used to watch 3 episodes a day as I didn't have enough internet to watch more than that. When i reached the last season, I was literally in tears on the thought that it's going to end soon. Finishing the show was like a heart break for me, it was something I had everyday and suddenly it was over. I still remember calling my friend and crying because I finished watching this show. I was like what to do next? Nothing. And now here I'm rewatching the show for as many times as I can.
