Mammootty's upcoming film 'Kalamkaval' has good expectations with the first look posters giving hope that Mammootty will appear in a negative shade once again after his 'Bramayugam' which was released last year. In a recent interview Jithin k Jose who is debuting with Kalamkaval gave hints that this role will have a Mammootty similar to the challenging roles he had done recently. Jithin K Jose also said that he had approached Prithviraj Sukumaran for the movie, but he suggested that Mammootty would be apt for the role. They approached Mammootty and he agreed to do the project while Vinayakan's role in the movie was suggested by Mammootty. The director also said that the movie has incidents from real-life, but it's not original documentation and is fiction. The post production works of the movie are currently happening and it will be released this year itself.
