One pot masala chicken pulao🍗
INGREDIENTS
* Chicken breast -200 Gms
* Basmati rice -1 cup (150 Gms)
* Oil-5-10 ml
* Ghee -1 tbsp
* Whole spices with bay leaf
* Sliced onions 🧅 - 1 no medium size
* Cubes tomato 🍅-1 small nos
* Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
* Green chilli-2 nos
* Salt -to taste
* Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
* Chilli powder- 1 tsp
* Garam masala-1/2 tsp
* Chopped Coriander leaves
METHOD
* Wash Soak the basmati rice for 30 -45 minutes
* Heat oil add whole spices with bay leaf and followed by slit green chilli and then sliced onions
* on a slow to medium heat saute the onions till it becomes soft then add ginger garlic paste and saute when the aroma comes out
* At this stage add cubes of tomatoes 🍅 then season it with sufficient salt and sauté them add turmeric and chilli powder
* Once raw flavour disappears add marinated chicken cubes and saute the cover and cook it for 3-4 minutes then add the measured water for 1 cup rice i am using 2 cup water bring it to boil add soaked basmati rice and start cooking check for seasoning if required add salt
* When the rice and water on the same level add chopped coriander,garam masala and ghee
* Then cover and dum for 10-12 minutes by keeping a old tawa underneath on a very slow heat try to keep a bowl of water on top
* Once the time is over need to rest the pulao for 5 minutes Serve hot with raitha or any side dish
