Fish Roast 🐠
INGREDIENTS
* Fish 🐟 cubes-250 gms
* Coconut oil- 10 ml
* Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
* Red chilli whole-1 nos
* Curry leaves -1 sprig
* Chopped garlic 🧄 -2-3 cloves
* Chopped ginger - small piece
* Sliced green chilli -1 nos
* Sliced onions 🧅 - 1 medium sized
* Sliced tomatoes 🍅 -1 medium sized
* Salt 🧂
* Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
* Chilli powder -1/2 tsp
* Coriander powder -1 tsp
* Crushed pepper -1tsp
* Chilli flakes -1tsp
* Crushed coriander seeds -1tsp
* Chopped coriander 🌿 leaves
For fish marination
* Salt-to tatse
* Ginger garlic paste
* Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
* Kashmiri chilli powder-1 tbsp
* Lemon 🍋 juice
* Rice flour
* Sunflower oil to fry the fish
METHOD
* Marinate the fish 🐟 cubes with salt 🧂 chilli and turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste and add rice flour/lime juice and marinade the fish and keep it aside for 30 minutes
* In a kadai heat oil and fry the fish cubes crispy and well done and keep it aside.
* Heat coconut oil crackle mustard seeds and add red chillies then curry leaves and
* Add chopped garlic 🧄,ginger,green chilli and sliced onions 🧅 add salt And sauté till golden brown
* once the onions is golden brown and turmeric / chilli powder/ coriander powder and sauté till the raw flavour goes then add sliced tomatoes 🍅
* Sauté for few minutes once it is Sautéed add sufficient water to cook the masala
* Once the masala is cooked add crushed pepper/coriander and chilli flakes finish it with chopped coriander leaves 🍃 and check for seasoning
* Add the fried fish cubes and mix gently so the fish doesn’t break
* Serve hot as an appetiser or main course
