The butcher shop went viral after various religious organisations launched a campaign against halal meat. Sri Krishna Beef stall selling halal meat in Tamil Nadu has gone viral. The shop is owned by K Kannan. Photos of the store have been widely circulated on Facebook and Twitter. The shop also has an advertisement board that reads, 'Halal-slaughter month available.'

कसाई का बोर्ड हलाल मांस के खिलाफ एक अभियान के दौरान सोशल मीडिया पर प्रसारित किया गया था।
केरल और अन्य दक्षिणी राज्यों में हलाल भोजन के खिलाफ व्यापक घृणा प्रचार के बीच दुकान की छवि प्रसारित हो रही है। हिंदू मक्कल पार्टी ने कहा कि व्यापक विरोध के बाद दुकान का बोर्ड हटा दिया गया।
कसाई की दुकान तब वायरल हो गई जब विभिन्न धार्मिक संगठनों ने हलाल मांस के खिलाफ अभियान चलाया। तमिलनाडु में हलाल मीट बेचने वाला श्रीकृष्णा बीफ स्टॉल वायरल हो गया है। दुकान का मालिक के कन्नन है। स्टोर की तस्वीरें फेसबुक और ट्विटर पर व्यापक रूप से प्रसारित की गई हैं। दुकान में एक विज्ञापन बोर्ड भी लगा है जिस पर लिखा है, 'हलाल-वध महीना उपलब्ध है।'
