কম্পিউটারে বাংলা ভাষা প্রয়োগের কয়েকটি সাম্ভাব্য ক্ষেত্র সমুহ।
Applications of Bengali in Computers :
Desk Top Publications (DTP): For Publishing Books, News Papers, Magazines, Journals,
Souvenirs, Leaflets, Invitation Letters, Greeting & Visiting Cards, Question Papers, Result
Sheet, Writing Thesis, Novels, Etc.
Graphics Design & Multimedia: The use of Bengali in Multimedia, Graphics Design,
Posters, Banners, Festoons and Ad-materials, Etc.
e-Books & Archiving: e-Book publishing has become an opportunity for application of
Regional language in computers. Archiving of old Books in regional language, Digital Book
publications, etc.
Web Application: Bengali language application in Web, Internet, Social Media, etc.
School, College, Madrasah, and Training Institutes: Several thousands of computers are
used by the Institutes and lacs of Students. A recent circular from West Bengal Government
for compulsory Bengali Education in schools accelerates use of Bengali in computers.
KANNASHREE Prakalpa: About 93 lacs enrolled Kanyashree girl students need computer
literacy (Most of them have already achieved from schools). Now the knowledge of the application
of Regional Language in computers will make them self- reliant for obtaining a service or
start entrepreneurship.
Judiciary: Writing Deeds, Applications, other records & documents at Registry & Lawyer’s
Offices, etc.
3600 Panchayets & Blocks: Government to Citizen Services (G2C), i.e. Birth & Death
Registration Certificates, Receipt for various revenue Collection, Book Keeping & Accounts,
Writing Letters and similar applications. Citizen to Government Services (C2G),
Government to Government (G2G).
Common Service Centres: There are thousands of Common Service Centers (CSC) all over
the state and application of regional language is very much essential for them.
Self-Help Group: Few lacs of Self-Help Group are established to manufacture Traditional
products. A section of an Educated group can be utilized in this IT field and can be made
productive within a short period of time. A strong IT workforce can be generated by
utilizing this workforce.
Government Departments: There is a standing order from the Government for use of
Bengali for Inter-office correspondence should be in the Regional language.
Electronic Media: Video Editing, Titling is nowadays a popular and remunerative job.
Titling in Bengali can be done in any advanced Video Editing Software.
In short - the application and use of Bengali are enormous.
