Cut a 35×35 inches fabric piece and fold it. From the waist, measure 11 inches down and mark 7 inches upward. Shape it into a smooth curve and cut along the marking. ✂️

First, draw the half-sleeve pattern and mark the center line. Cut along the center of the sleeve pattern and spread the two sections apart on the fabric. Then draw the diamond-shaped extension below the sleeve pattern and cut the fabric along the complete sleeve pattern, including the diamond shape. Now twist the extra diamond-shaped fabric to create the sculpted effect and neatly attach it along the lower edges of the sleeve. Finally, stitch it securely in place to achieve this unique structured sleeve design. ✂️🧵

Start by cutting your basic bodice pattern with a 3-inch neck length and 3-inch neck width.

✂️ After marking the neckline, make a 7-inch cut down the centre of the bodice.

Next, create the strips near the neckline for the gathering. Spread the strips apart evenly to create the desired amount of fullness.

Place the adjusted pattern on the fabric and cut the upper bodice piece.

Now, add the gathers neatly along the cut sections and join them together. Once the gathered upper piece is ready, attach it to the lower bodice piece.
