Peshok (near Lamahatta in Darjeeling district, West Bengal) is known for its lush greenery, tea gardens, and panoramic views of the Teesta River. While it's not a formally recognized peacock sanctuary.
Best Time: Early morning or just after a monsoon shower.

Season: Monsoon and post-monsoon (July–October) are ideal, when peacocks are most active.

Where to Look: Edges of the tea gardens, forest fringes, or open clearings near the river valley.
