Advertising Club Calcutta Welcome to the official page of Advertising Club Calcutta. Advertising Club Calcutta is the oldest advertising club in India.

Established in 1953, it’s a non-profit society that has been catering to the advertising fraternity of Kolkata for the past 69 years. Championing communication that connects with the consumer, it is a platform that has been encouraging fellowship among the fraternity through a plethora of programmes like debates, corporate quiz shows, media workshops etc.

Snippets from the AGM of the Advertising Club Kolkata, held on 21st February 2025 at SKAI The Lounge Bar. As members of the club came together for insightful, industry-specific discussions and more, a key highlight of the AGM was the election of the club’s new committee for 2025–2026.

Leading the club for another year are Mr. Kanchan Datta, as President of the Advertising Club, Mr. Gagan Sachdev, Vice President, Mr. Samrat Mukherjee (Honorary Secretary) and Mr Vivek Gupta (Honorary Treasurer).

Ushering in a fresh wave of leadership and innovation, the AGM also saw the formation of a Governing Body and an Executive Committee that will work together to drive the club forward.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the road ahead, Kanchan Datta, President of The Advertising Club and Founder of Inner Circle Advertising India, remarked, “This AGM marks an exciting new chapter for us. With a dynamic new team and Kolkata’s rich pool of creative talent, we are eager to push boundaries and explore new horizons together.”
