Welcome to the official page of Advertising Club Calcutta. Advertising Club Calcutta is the oldest advertising club in India.

Established in 1953, it’s a non-profit society that has been catering to the advertising fraternity of Kolkata for the past 69 years. Championing communication that connects with the consumer, it is a platform that has been encouraging fellowship among the fraternity through a plethora of programmes like debates, corporate quiz shows, media workshops etc.

In the company of some of the finest minds from the advertising fraternity, Advertising Club Calcutta had the privilege of honouring Prasoon Pandey at the Hall of Fame Awards 2026.

A visionary storyteller whose work has transcended advertising to become a benchmark for creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural relevance, Prasoon's influence continues to inspire generations of storytellers, filmmakers, and creative professionals.

The evening was not just a celebration of an extraordinary body of work, but of a legacy that continues to shape the future of advertising.

A glimpse into an inspiring afternoon of creativity, storytelling, and visual exploration.

Our session, “Understanding the Brilliance of Satyajit Ray’s Visual Thinking,” brought together creative minds for a fascinating look into the legendary filmmaker’s world of design and illustration.

Through insightful presentations, engaging discussions, and audience interactions, attendees explored how Ray’s unique visual language shaped his work as a filmmaker, illustrator, and storyteller.

A special thank you to Sugata Guha and Debasish Deb for sharing their invaluable insights, experiences and perspectives, making the session truly memorable for everyone present.

When the budget dies, the real creative 'Adda' begins! 💀💸

A proud moment for the Advertising Club Calcutta at Taj Bengal for Brand Chorcha - Bengal, where our team took the stage for an unforgettable session: “Death By Budget: An Ad ADDA.” 🎙️✨

From navigating tighter constraints to delivering massive impact, the discussion stripped away the corporate jargon to talk real strategy, creative survival, and the future of advertising in Bengal. As you can see from the frame on stage, we literally laid the budget to rest so the ideas could take over!

Representing Ad Club Calcutta on the panel were our very own Kanchan Datta (President, Advertising Club Calcutta & Founder & CEO) and Samrat Mukherjee (Secretary, Advertising Club Calcutta).
