Successful trials/rehearsal ahead of opening New Bridge at Conducted on 29th March 2025.

The Rehearsal included opening of the Old and New to synchronise the timings, and after allowing the ship to cross to the other side underneath the opened lift span of the new bridge, the lifted portion of the new bridge was lowered to clock the timing.

After the Lift Span of the New Bridge was lowered, a train was operated from Pamban end to end and from Mandapam end to Pamban end across the Pamban Bridge to verify the timings.
