Having sleepless nights before the actual daybreak...
Having chaotic days handling chaotic crew members...
At that point you come to know, that your object of attraction i.e., the cinema is tough to attain.
But again Love is Love.

My Next Film will focus primarily on Extra personal conflicts like the societal structure and some fair light will be shed on internal conflicts along with interpersonal conflicts, of prime characters as well.

I would like to add that I simply love how a screenwriter operates by keeping oneself within the box of the story synopsis, yet gradually pushing the edge step by step and evolving the plot, events, characters, and dialogues.

My favourite part of writing a film has always been the rule of 3. But this time, when I delegated my job as a screenwriter to someone very special, she somehow understood me and my vision more clearly than I did.

The RULE OF THREE IN THE PLOT of a film is well known: 1. the Setup (Introduction to characters and how they embark on a journey), 2. the actual journey with complications, conflicts and crisis begins and 3. then the climax with resolution of the crisis or an anti-climax hinting the sequel.

She did wonder with her words in building this structure, not just that, she had sketched each character/protagonist three-dimensional in nature. Each dialogue is written and each word is chosen so meticulously that I wanted to kiss her hand a thousand times.

I wrote this note to thank my screenwriter Upasana Chowdhury, to express my gratitude for working on my story and taking it to the next level and making my job more difficult. I can not reveal more than this for now.

I want this post to emerge every year as a reminder on how I collaborated to some of the finest artists of my time.

I love to direct films and what excites me the most about making one is the very process from scratch till the end.

I like to plan everything beforehand and on the floor some things get improvised, changed or moved to a level up. This constant mix of planned and unplanned techniques creates magic onscreen. I love this, love this so much.

Ultimately while making a film, one must remember it's a two-dimensional sphere, and the magic also happens when you explore the geographical area with your camera placement and movements.

Also, I am very fond of freeze frames, cross-cutting scenes with musical treatments etc. There is so much and so more, in terms of techniques.

But mostly, my films are an overflow of emotions and those have defined sub-texts. And love plays a vital role in the content of my films. Love is in fact the driving force in my films.

I rise and fall, I make films anyway. Keep loving my work, more updates are incoming.
