The Delhi High Court on Thursday said the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) must consider framing guidelines to facilitate the participation of women athletes returning to competitive sport after maternity leave. The Court also said a balance has to be maintained between the interests of the country and those of the athlete. Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma made the observations while hearing Olympian Vinesh Phogat's plea seeking permission to participate in the selection trials for the 2026 Senior World Wrestling Championships, scheduled to be held on September 14. The Bench reserved its order on Phogat's plea after hearing submissions from both sides.

That is the incredible story of *Vilas Godbole*, a Mumbai cricketer whose forgotten first-class appearance resurfaced decades after he had finished playing.

In 1965, Godbole represented Bombay against Ceylon at the iconic Brabourne Stadium. He even smashed the very first ball he faced for a six! But for years, he never considered himself a first-class cricketer.

More than five decades later, a Facebook cricket quiz unexpectedly brought his remarkable story back into the spotlight. With the help of cricket historians and the BCCI, Godbole finally discovered that the match from 1965 was officially recognised as a first-class fixture.
