In a world that often overlooks the silent suffering of animals, I have chosen to dedicate my time and energy to stray dogs, pigeons, and cows-creatures who share our spaces but rarely receive the care they deserve.
🐶 Stray Dogs - Guardians of the Streets
Every day, thousands of stray dogs face hunger, injury, and neglect. I began by feeding them in my neighborhood, but l knew I had to do more. So I partnered with local NGOs to help organize vaccination camps, sterilization drives, and adoption awareness programs. I also raised donations for medical treatments for injured dogs and helped find loving homes for puppies born on the streets.
Beyond the physical help, I aim to change perceptions.
Through social media and community meetings, I talk about how stray dogs are not a nuisance, but victims of abandonment and systemic neglect. I advocate for kindness, responsibility, and ethical coexistence.
🕊️Pigeons - Wings in the City
In the chaos of urban life, pigeons are often ignored or seen as pests. I began feeding them daily, offering grains and fresh water, especially during extreme weather when survival becomes difficult. I also educated people in my community about the dangers of netting and spikes that injure birds, and promoted the use of bird-friendly structures.
Feeding pigeons isn't just about food-it's a daily act of compassion, a reminder that even the smallest life deserves dignity.
🐄 Cows - Sacred, Yet Forgotten
Cows in urban areas suffer in silence-wandering hungry, injured by vehicles, or consuming harmful plastic waste. I have worked with gaushalas and local municipal bodies to report and rescue injured cows, and to promote plastic-free zones near areas where cows graze.
I also take part in cleanliness drives around temples and public spaces, encouraging people to offer only organic waste to cows, and not leftovers mixed with plastic, which often leads to illness or death.
