The iconic Aditya Bari Kali Puja, one of Bengal’s most cherished cultural celebrations with a history spanning over three centuries, returns this year with a theme that beautifully intertwines the classic with the contemporary — “Where Sabeki Roots Meet Golden Glitter.” This year’s concept is a luminous tribute to Bengal’s timeless artistry, blending the traditional spirit of devotion with the elegance and radiance of modern design.
The Aditya Bari Kali Puja stands as a living legacy of faith, art, and community — a tradition carried forward for over 300 years.

This year, Aditya Bari Kali Puja celebrates the divine through a visual prayer that unites faith, design, and emotion. This year’s theme symbolizes the magnificent convergence of Bengal’s sabeki soul (traditional essence) with shimmering modern glamour. The aesthetic heart of the theme pulses with red and gold — red representing the eternal strength of the Divine Mother, and gold embodying divine prosperity and radiance.
The pandal design reflects a celestial fusion of heritage and innovation. Traditional alpona patterns are reimagined with a glittering glow, while gold-flecked drapes, mirrored textures, and luminous backdrops create an ethereal golden ambiance. Each artistic element — from hand-painted motifs to intricate textile layering —pays homage to Bengal’s enduring craftsmanship while transporting devotees into a world where ritual meets radiance.
Speaking about the significance of this year’s theme, Anirban Aditya, Chairman, Aditya Group, shared, “Aditya Bari Kali Puja has always been about honouring our roots while embracing the evolving beauty of culture.
