NAUTICAL NINETY is the name that in itself is self sufficient to symbolise that how we all cadets can join our hand towards a common motto, a goal that can be savoured easily when we are all together. The basic idea, for which it was brought to existence, is to fill up the missing gaps between all the marine colleges here in Kolkata. It’s a
medium for uncovering the news and stuffs from the oyster in order to make the cadets aware of the happenings that they are willing to know. That’s the primary reason for dividing this NAUTICAL NINETY in seven sections. Before going onboard, a cadet should be well aware of the vessel that he/she is boarding. OSCEN’S QUEEN is a section that provides brief description of a vessel picked up randomly from our team. AROUND THE COMPASS is another section that makes one aware of what is happening there in shipping industry all around us. This is a magazine for cadets and by the cadets, so CADET’S COOKIE is the collection of articles that is posted by the cadets to us. KNOWLEDGE HORIZON is the section which would provides the study material of a subject for each year. Biggest gap which is coming in between us is that we aren’t aware of what’s happening in other colleges; obviously it would be helpful if we all have binoculars to view each other from a distance. And hence we have, BINOCULARS as one of the section, dedicated completely to college current affairs. It’s better to learn by the experience of other’s, so INSIGNIA SPEAKS is that section which helps us to visualize the experience of any of our respected pass out seniors. Everything floating on sea seems small, yet speaking truly there are indeed some big architectural structures on sea; MIRACULAOUS MARINE is the section which gives us the opportunity to know just about that.
