Ever seen a database having unstable or unexpected behaviour?
Happens when its archive logs are full.
Just like we need space to move and think, database needs breathing room to do its job.
Archive logs keep track of every change happening in the system, and when the storage for these logs fills up, everything can come to a halt.
So whatโ€™s the remedy?
Move those archived logs to another locationโ€”preferably a secure backup directory.
This clears up space and lets your database get back to work without skipping a beat.
Once things are flowing smoothly again, donโ€™t forget to take a proper backup of those logs. .
