If a machine killed people every year, would you promote that machine?
If a river took the lives of many people every year, would you advertise it as something everyone should experience?
If a particular road caused hundreds of deaths every year, would you encourage people to drive faster on it?
Of course not.
We would warn people about the machine.
We would put signs near the river.
We would make the dangerous road safer.
Because when something repeatedly destroys lives, we don’t promote it, we warn people about it.
So why do we sometimes promote things simply because they are popular, profitable, or entertaining, even when they destroy lives, families, and generations?
Popularity does not make something safe.
Profit does not make something right.
Entertainment does not make destruction harmless.
A wise person does not ask only, “Is everyone doing it?”
A wise person asks, “What is it producing?”
If something repeatedly produces destruction, we should have the courage to call it dangerous, even when the world calls it normal.
Not everything that is popular deserves promotion.
Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is not advertise the danger, but warn people about it.
And then we must ask an even deeper question: If the Ganga takes lives every year, why do we worship the river Ganga as a goddess?
A river may give water, sustain life, and hold cultural significance, but a river is not God.
Creation is not the Creator. Worship belongs to God alone.
