OFFICIAL STATEMENT – CHAINSAW CULT
From the very beginning, CHAINSAW CULT was created with a clear purpose:
to exalt death metal driven by the raw, filthy and unmistakable tone of the Boss HM-2.
That focus was always intentional. A true worship of the chainsaw sound.
Over time, one thing became clear.
The underground scene is bigger than a single tone.
There are countless honest, extreme and relevant bands outside the HM-2 niche that also deserve space, context and respect.
For this reason, we have decided to end active posting on CHAINSAW CULT.
This page will remain online as an archive and a document of that specific sonic path.
From now on, all curation, features and publications will take place exclusively on:
👉 GUTTURAL SOURCE
📡
GUTTURAL SOURCE does not abandon the HM-2 sound.
It simply widens the scope.
More subgenres.
More regional scenes.
More underground bands living and breathing death metal with no compromises.
The purpose remains the same:
to strengthen the underground scene with criteria, respect and authenticity.
If you’ve been following CHAINSAW CULT, it makes sense to be part of GUTTURAL SOURCE.
The link is in the bio and in this post.

Death metal above trends.
Underground above all.
