RAM (Random Access Memory) computer ka temporary ya short-term memory hota hai jisme aapke chal rahe apps aur data temporarily store hote hain. Simple example: RAM ko “working table” samjho aur hard disk/SSD ko “almirah”. Jab aap Chrome, YouTube ya MS Word use karte ho, to data RAM me load hota hai taki kaam fast ho. Jitni zyada RAM hogi, utna smooth multitasking hoga—jaise 8GB RAM normal use ke liye theek hai, jabki 16GB gaming aur heavy work ke liye better hoti hai.
Image me jo DDR, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4 aur DDR5 dikhaya gaya hai, wo RAM ke different generations (versions) hain. Har new version purane se fast aur efficient hota hai—DDR3 abhi basic use me mil jata hai, DDR4 aajkal sabse common hai, aur DDR5 latest aur sabse fast hai jo high-end systems me use hota hai. Har RAM stick me ek “notch” (beech ka cut) hota hai jo alag-alag jagah par hota hai, isliye alag generation ki RAM ek dusre ke motherboard me fit nahi hoti.
Simple baat: RAM system ki speed aur performance ko directly affect karti hai. Kam RAM hone par system hang ya slow ho sakta hai, jabki zyada RAM hone par aap ek saath multiple apps smoothly chala sakte ho. Isliye apne use ke hisaab se RAM choose karna important hai—basic kaam ke liye 4–8GB, normal use ke liye 8GB, aur gaming ya editing ke liye 16GB ya usse zyada best rahta hai.
