On March 2nd, CYSD Head Sri Jagadananda visited CYSD Dasmantpur field to see how things were going and talk to farmers. He went to Kauguda village in the APC area and interacted with farmers there. Kauguda has big irrigation facilities to support OAIC and facilitated by CYSD. What's interesting is that before this, Kauguda farmers only farmed during the rainy season.
After that, Jagadananda went to Pattamaliguda to see a lot of mushrooms being grown as part of CYSD's Parivartan project and a huge cluster of vegetables. Then, he visited Malitola village to check out a cold storage facility facilitated by APC CYSD, and Kedabguda village for a big IFS bins cluster. Mr. Subod Dash from OAIC Koraput, CYSD Program Director Mr. Basant Nayak, and Zonal Head Mr. Ramesh Kumar Swain were with him.

We the Dasmantpur team had a great opportunity to meet with the head of our family, Sri Jagadananda sir,and we are always thankful for his time with us. During his visit to our Dasmantpur fields and various project areas (APC, IFS, and Parivartan) he showed the clusters and interacted with farmers. Additionally, a group integration meeting was held with sir, where he discussed challenges and the focus of our work, with all staff and CRPs.
