On August 27, a former Aeroflot employee living in Florida was convicted on all charges after prosecutors accused him of illegally exporting U.S.-made aircraft parts to Russia and the Russian flag carrier.

The case stems from U.S. export restrictions imposed following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, including a temporary denial order barring Aeroflot from receiving U.S. origin goods.
