Kupwara Administration Bids Farewell to Outgoing DFO Anurag Arya
KUPWARA, JULY 24: The District Administration Kupwara today organized a warm farewell function in honor of Mr. Anurag Arya, Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, on his transfer from the post of Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Kamraj. The event was held at the DC Office Complex Kupwara and was attended by senior officers and officials of the administration.
Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan, praised Mr. Arya for his dedicated service especially his efforts in resolving various administrative issues for completion of different developmental projects in the Kamraj division of the district. During his tenure, Mr. Arya was instrumental in initiating several afforestation drives, streamlining forest management practices, and promoting environmental awareness among local communities.
While speaking at the event, Anurag Arya expressed his gratitude to the District Administration, colleagues, and residents of Kupwara for their cooperation and support. He highlighted his enriching experience working in the district and reaffirmed his commitment to environmental service in his new posting.
Various officers from administration spoke and appreciated the efforts and cooperation of the out-going DFO.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the presentation of a memento and shawl as a token of appreciation for Mr. Arya’s remarkable service.
