Friends, I am Brajesh Sharma, a solo traveller and a cyclist. I am a resident of Morena, Madhya Pradesh. For the last 5 years, I am traveling across the country by bicycle. I started my cycle journey on 17 September 2019 from Gandhinagar, Gujarat and have completed 1112 days in my cycle journey so far.
My mission is single use plastic free India and feeding all street animals. And to promote organic farming to the farmers of our country by cycling around the villages of our country. Till now, I have covered 40,000 kms in my cycle journey. In this journey, I have touched 275 cities and more than 8500 villages, made aware of harm caused by single use plastic by addressing 46 lakh school and college students. And I try to feed all the street animals that I come across during my cycle journey. Karnataka is the 12th state, after covering Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Goa. Have spent almost 1 year in Karnataka, covering all the districts. Cycling to the remaining two districts – Kolar and Mysore in August, to complete Karnataka, my 9th state. At this time, I am doing awareness program for schools, colleges, university in Bengaluru, on harm caused by single use plastic. I was invited to meet honourable governor of Karnataka – Shri Thawar Chand Gehlot and commissioner of police – Shri B.Dayanand, during this month. After Karnataka, I would be cycling down to Kerala, on my mission against single use plastic.
