*I will never try to deceive or mislead the people for my political gains: Ishfaq Jabbar*

*Adressed a enthusiastic gathering at Khanpora Wakura Ganderbal*

Srinagar,1 Sep: President Jammu Kashmir United Moment and Former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar on Friday said that some leaders always came to you to get your votes and after attaining power forgot their promises. Now, it is your responsibility to tell them enough is enough. You should not fall prey to their fake promises and emotional slogans anymore.

Jabbar said this while interacting with people and party workers at Khanpora area of Wakura Ganderbal.

Mr Jabbar said, “I believe in politics of honesty. I never try to allure people through emotional ideologies. I want to see our youth prospering and thriving.

He said the matter of Article 370 is in Supreme Court and I wish the judgment in the matter should come as per the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir".

Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar while drawing a line between JKUM and the traditional political parties, said, “The clarity of our slogans is our strength. Unlike traditional political parties, especially the dynasties, JKUM does not try to allure or mislead people through fake promises and emotional slogans. Imagine, a party misled people here on the name so-called ‘plebiscite movement’ for about 23 years, and then finally ditched the same people who sacrificed for this deceptive slogan. Similarly, the slogans calling for ‘Autonomy’, ‘Self Rule’, Dual Currency’ and so on were raised by the traditional political parties to befool the people and eventually attain power and remain in power.”

He urged the his workers to enhance public outreach in order to make people aware of the his agenda and vision for the future of Jammu and Kashmir.

He asked the party cadre to keep identifying and highlighting the public issues in their respective areas so that these public issues could be brought to the notice of the concerned officials for quick redressal.
