Netflix has a new chart-topper. BELOW climbed to the No. 1 spot on the platform’s U.S. TV chart just one day after its October 8 debut, pushing EAST OF EDEN down to No. 2.

The six-episode thriller stars Josh Hartnett as Calvin Penney, a Newfoundland fisherman whose life changes when a mysterious sea creature begins threatening the waters near his home. With his family and isolated coastal community at risk, he faces a fight to protect the people and way of life that matter most.

Hartnett stars alongside Mackenzie Davis and STRANGER THINGS actor Charlie Heaton. Created by Jesse McKeown and filmed on location in Newfoundland, the series combines creature horror with family drama and the challenges facing a small fishing community trying to preserve its traditions.

XO, Kitty may return in a different format, as Netflix reportedly considers making a feature-length movie instead of moving forward with Season 4.

Deadpool is heading back into the Marvel universe, but this time, fans will see an animated version of the character rather than Ryan Reynolds’ live-action Merc With a Mouth.

At New York Comic-Con 2026, footage from X-Men ’97 Season 3 revealed Deadpool appearing alongside She-Hulk at a major event: Gambit and Rogue’s wedding. The new season is scheduled to arrive on Disney+ in 2027.

This appearance marks a notable change for the character in the animated series. In Season 2, Morph transformed into Deadpool during a fight sequence, but that cameo did not feature the real Wade Wilson in the show’s present timeline.

Ben Affleck’s new Netflix thriller ANIMALS is getting off to a rocky start with critics, earning a 42% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes shortly after its release.
