📅 12th July 2025 | Saturday

Yesterday, Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) held a landmark event — Muslim Samvad (Issues & Solutions) — in Lucknow, bringing together working-class professionals, artisans, entrepreneurs, and community leaders from across Uttar Pradesh.

The event was graced by Hon’ble National President & MP, Adv. Chandrashekhar Azad Ji as the Chief Guest, who passionately addressed the community’s socio-economic concerns beyond politics.

Key Highlights from the Address:
▪️ "Attacks on religious freedom are rising — Waqf is just the beginning. Tomorrow it could be Jains, Christians, and others."
▪️ "This is not just a dialogue, but the beginning of a larger socio-political movement."
▪️ "They allow streets for a month-long Kanwar Yatra, but deploy police if Eid prayers touch the road!"
▪️ "They say 'Smile, you are in Lucknow' — but today, we are not even allowed to cry."
▪️ "Our manifesto will give top priority to Waqf and other Muslim issues."
▪️ "We follow the principle — 'Jiski jitni sankhya bhaari, uski utni hissedari' – from Assembly to Panchayats."

A Call to Action:
"Don't just defeat BJP, unite to empower your own well-wisher — the Azad Samaj Party."

Dr. Mohammad Aaqib, the event convener, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all guests, community representatives, and party workers. He emphasized the importance of education as the key to community upliftment and pledged that all demands raised would be taken forward under the guidance of the national leadership.

"EC Just a Puppet, BJP Pulling the Strings" — Tejashwi Slams Voter Revision Drive

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has come down heavily on the Election Commission, alleging that the ongoing voter list revision is nothing but a political maneuver orchestrated by the BJP.

“The Election Commission is just a front, the real game is being played by the BJP behind the scenes,” said Tejashwi, accusing the ruling party of attempting to manipulate electoral rolls in its favour ahead of upcoming elections.

He questioned the transparency and timing of the revision process and demanded strict oversight to ensure free and fair elections.

"Voters are being selectively targeted. Democracy is being compromised," he added.

Is this a genuine administrative exercise or political engineering?

"His Name Should Be OP 'Raatbhar', Always Thinking of Switching Sides: Akhilesh Yadav's Jibe at OP Rajbhar"

Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday took a sharp dig at Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief and Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar. In a sarcastic remark, Yadav said that Rajbhar's name should be "OP Raatbhar" (meaning 'all night'), as he spends his nights contemplating political defections.

Speaking at a public gathering, Akhilesh quipped, "He is not OP Rajbhar; he is OP Raatbhar, because he keeps thinking about changing alliances all night long."

This jibe comes amid growing criticism of Rajbhar’s shifting political stance. Once an ally of the Samajwadi Party, Rajbhar is now a minister in the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government in Uttar Pradesh. His frequent changes in political allegiance have drawn flak from opposition parties, who accuse him of being driven by opportunism rather than ideology.

Akhilesh further remarked that the people of Uttar Pradesh have become increasingly aware of such political flip-flops. "Leaders who change their ideology every few months have been exposed. The public now sees through their motives," he added.

As election momentum picks up in the state, Akhilesh’s remarks are being seen as part of a broader strategy to question the credibility of leaders who have crossed over to the ruling camp.

All eyes are now on OP Rajbhar for his response to the SP chief’s biting commentary.

Historic First in Indian Democracy: Bihar Leads the Way in Mobile Voting!

In a landmark move that marks a bold step towards digital democracy, Bihar has become the first Indian state to implement mobile app-based voting — a pilot initiative that could redefine how India votes.

➡️ Launched on June 28, the Android-based e-voting system aims to empower millions, especially migrant workers and citizens living away from home, by allowing them to vote securely through their smartphones — no need to travel, no long queues.

Why This Matters:

✅ Inclusive Democracy: Migrant workers and remote citizens can now participate without the burden of returning home.
✅ Tamper-Proof Technology: The Election Commission’s app uses end-to-end encryption, strong authentication, and top-tier security to ensure every vote counts — and counts only once.
🔍 More than Convenience: It's a step towards greater voter inclusion and equal access to the democratic process for all citizens, regardless of where they live or work.

Potential Impact:

📈 Higher voter turnout
🛡️ Greater trust in electoral integrity
🌐 A truly borderless democratic experience

Challenges to Address:

⚠️ Cybersecurity threats
⚠️ Digital literacy barriers
⚠️ Risk of misuse or manipulation

This digital leap isn’t just a technological upgrade — it's a vision for an inclusive, transparent, and accessible India. 🇮🇳

Pension Politics Heats Up in Bihar Ahead of 2025 Polls

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has announced a substantial hike in the Social Security Pension, raising it from ₹400 to ₹1,100/month — a move set to benefit over 1.09 crore senior citizens, widows, and differently-abled citizens across the state starting July 2025.

But what seems like a welfare initiative has triggered a sharp political tug-of-war.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has accused the NDA-led government of being a "copycat", claiming that the Mahagathbandhan had proposed the same increase during its tenure, and that Nitish’s announcement is nothing but "electoral opportunism."

Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar’s camp maintains that the hike reflects his long-standing commitment to inclusive governance and welfare delivery.

🔍 Key Takeaways:

📈 ₹700 increase in pension – directly impacting rural & marginal communities

⏱️ Timing aligns with upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections

🎯 Political battle now centers around who deserves credit for this scheme

📊 Social security emerging as a key election narrative

As Bihar prepares for elections later this year, social welfare vs political credit is shaping into one of the central themes.

“English is empowering, not shameful.” – Rahul Gandhi

In a recent statement, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Shri Rahul Gandhi, emphasized the importance of teaching English to children, especially from economically weaker and rural backgrounds. He called it a tool of empowerment, not elitism.

This statement isn’t just about language—it’s about equal opportunity in education. He advocates for a system where every child, irrespective of background, has access to quality education in both regional languages and English.
