Uri actor Mohit Raina is known as Mahadev on TV. He has immortalized the character in a way that no other actor comes close. According to IndiaForums, Raina now takes a step into the same direction years after exploring other roles, only for Nitesh Tiwari-Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming franchise, Ramayana.
Who plays what in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana
Ranbir Kapoor is seen as the central character of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. Sai Pallavi would be seen as his wife, Goddess Sita. KGF actor Yash would be seen as Raavan in the film, while Sunny Deol (Gadar 2) portrays Lord Hanuman. Ravi Dubey plays Lord Laxman and Kunal Kapoor will be seen as Lord Indra. Lara Dutta will be seen as Kaikeyi and Sheeba Chaddha as Manthara. Arun Govil has been roped in to play King Dasharatha.
Ramayana to release in two parts, expected release dates out
Nitesh Tiwari-directed Ramayana will release in two parts. The first part of the film would be out in Diwali 2026 and the other in Diwali 2027. Although majority shooting of the first part is completed, the second part is also expected to be shot by October this year. The film is one of the most awaited for obvious reasons.
