Atala Mosque in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, is a significant example of Indo-Islamic architecture, built in 1408 by Sultan Ibrahim Shah Sharqi. It was constructed on the site of a demolished Hindu temple, incorporating some of its architectural elements. The mosque is known for its massive central dome, high arched entrances, and intricate carvings that blend Islamic and Hindu design motifs. The façade features a grand central iwan, flanked by two smaller iwans, creating a visually striking composition. The mihrab and minbar inside are adorned with fine calligraphy and geometric patterns. As one of the finest structures from the Sharqi dynasty, Atala Mosque remains an important historical and cultural landmark in northern India.

Central Mahallu Juma Masjid, also known as Central Mahallu Jama'ath (CMJ), is a prominent Shafi'i Sunni mosque situated in Muvattupuzha, Kerala, India. Established in 1927, the mosque held its inaugural Jumu'ah prayer on February 19 of that year (27 Sha'aban 1346 AH). Located adjacent to the Kavumkara market, CMJ serves as a central place of worship for the local Muslim community.

The mosque is actively involved in social and welfare initiatives, focusing on alleviating poverty, combating diseases, assisting those in need, reducing unemployment, and implementing educational reforms. These efforts aim to guide the Islamic society towards progress and prosperity. As of the 2011–2021 period, the mosque's congregation comprises approximately 8,960 members across 1,824 families, organized into eleven blocks. Members collaborate on various developmental and welfare activities to benefit the community.
