We are a bunch, who thought to boss up and aim big without a hush. And what’s in a name! A name like that! The Hush Post is a name which was born as a result of the paucity of good domain names and clever businessmen banking them like stocks. Nonetheless we struck gold. Journalism is all about playing with words, carving clever sentences; getting to the name — thehushpost.com took us close to a week of work in October 2017. And thehushpost.com button was pressed somewhere in Chandigarh on the evening of November 7. It is a news website dedicated to the six north Indian states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and also national capital Delhi and Chandigarh, as well as the diaspora. We also break news, latest sports, films, political stories and provide crisp coverage of events as and when they unfold. And we promise brilliance commensurate with our growth and will re-strategies our goals on reaching each milestone which will be in line with human values rather than greed and gratification.
Shamsher Chandel, Founder-Editor & Partner: He has more than two-decade long experience in print and broadcast journalism. He began his career with reputed English evening tabloid Delhi Mid-Day and subsequently work with The Asian Age, The Indian Express, The Times Of India and later with a couple of news channels. His last stint was with Dainik Bhaskar as a Resident Editor. He has also authored a novel — Crack of Dawn.
Vishal Anand, CEO: He is a thorough professional with an overall experience of 15 years and has worked with Hindustan Times and Dainik Jagran Group in various roles and capacities handling direct as well as channel sales and has a strong background of handling large FOS in the designated markets. He is a business post-graduate in Management.
