The illustration brief
1. Have a look at our previous cover Design, for ideas and themes. We will be looking for the most creative and striking jacket image for GENCO’13 Magazine.
2. Create an illustration for the front cover, to fit the dimensions 8 3⁄8” x 10 7⁄8”. Your image can be full colour, or a single colour, or two colours . . . You choose.
3. You can use any media: paint / pencils / collage / printmaking / photographic illustration / vector based artwork / a 3D model (photographed and designed to fit the dimensions).
4. Please include lettering: ‘GENCO 2013 (An Annual College Magazine)’ name. This may be the main part of your design.
5. Please supply your work as an RGB jpeg.. Please make sure you keep the original high res artwork.
6. Give Title of you project and Add brief description (100 characters or less) During Mailing us.
7.Any digital files you might want to submit saved as RGB (not CMYK) JPG format (maximum height1080 pixels )

1.You must submit your entry via email to [email protected] which must consist of, or include, i) " SUBMIT THE DESIGN comp" in the subject line, ii) your contact details (like phn. #, Branch, Sec. and Year)
2.If you have any questions about how to enter the Competition, please email us at [email protected] with " SUBMIT THE DESIGN comp question" in the subject line.
3.Only one entry is permitted per person. Entries on behalf of another will not be accepted and joint entries are not allowed.
4.Entry to the Competition opens at midday on 3rd October 2013.
5.Entries must be the entrant's own original work and must not infringe any third party's intellectual property, moral or other rights.
6.Editors Team take no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of entry is not proof of receipt.
7.Selected design will be used as a Cover Page After few edits or it might be used as a basic part of Cover page design or Combined with few design to make Final one. You can’t argue on this with us.
