Shathi Daily, is the first Kannada daily newspaper of Kodagu established in 1957 by late BS Gopalakrishna. With the motto, 'ನ್ಯಾಯಪಾಲನೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಯುಕ್ತಿ, ನ್ಯಾಯದರ್ಶನ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತಿ', the newspaper has been giving strength and voice to the people of Kodagu ever since.
