: Sopore Police arrested three drug peddlers and recovered Contraband Substances from their possession

Sopore, Feb 03: Sopore Police have successfully arrested three drug peddlers and seized contraband Substances in their ongoing efforts to eliminate drug-related issues from society.

During naka checking at Hamdania Colony Naidhal Rafiabad, a police team led by SHO PS Panzalla Insp. Manzoor Ahmad, intercepted three individuals identified as. Aadil Ahmad Lone S/O Mohammad Rajab Lone, Mohammad Shafi Sheikh S/O Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, Sajad Ahmad Lone S/O Mohammad Sadeeq Lone residents of Nadihal Rafiabad.

Upon their search, the police recovered 122 grams of contraband charas like substance. A case (FIR No. 06/2025) has been filed under the relevant sections of the law, at Police Station Panzalla and an investigation has begun.

Sopore Police encourage the public to share any information related to narcotics or other crimes with the nearest police station or by dialing 112. They urge the community to cooperate in the fight against drugs and assure that strict action will be taken against criminals as per the law.
