"The Girle everyone Loved... But No one could Have "
This is the story of a girl whom everyone loved. But the real question was: Who would marry her?
One day, a young man said to his father,
"I want to marry a girl I saw. Her beauty and enchanting eyes have captured my heart."
His father smiled and replied,
"Where is this girl? Let me go ask for her hand in marriage for you."
When the father and son went to see the girl, the father too was stunned by her beauty.
He turned to his son and said,
"Son, this girl is not for you. You are not worthy of her. She is for someone experienced and trustworthy… someone like me."
The son was shocked and said,
"No! I will marry her, not you."
A dispute broke out between the two, and they went to the police station to resolve the matter.
After hearing their story, the officer said,
"Bring the girl here. Let’s ask her who she wants to marry – the father or the son."
But when the officer saw the girl, he too was mesmerized. He said,
"She is not right for either of you. She deserves someone important… someone like me."
Now all three were arguing and went to the minister. When the minister saw the girl, he said,
"This girl is fit only for ministers… like me."
Their dispute continued, and they went to the ruler of the city.
When the ruler saw the girl, he too said,
"I will solve this matter. Bring the girl to me."
But upon seeing her, the ruler also said,
"She can only marry someone wealthy and powerful… like me."
As they all argued, the girl said,
"I have a solution. I will run, and all of you must chase me. Whoever catches me first will marry me."
The girl ran, and all five – the young man, the father, the officer, the minister, and the ruler – ran after her.
While chasing her, they all fell into a deep pit.
Standing at the edge, the girl looked down and said:
"Do you know who I am?
I am the world.
I am what everyone runs after, forgetting their faith, their values, and their afterlife.
Everyone chases me… until they fall into their grave."
Moral:
This story reminds us not to lose ourselves chasing the world, for in the end, only our deeds and faith remain with us.
