Food Drive for Homeless

Shalom All,
This is to share about the joy of giving to this little poor girl.

Pic 1:
Her name is Sridevi and just finished her 10th grade. I never met her or her parents but came to know about them through her grandma who works as a house maid. Her grandma use to ask me to pray for her son and her daughter in law who were parents of this girl. Last week she was telling me that her granddaughter finished her 10th grade with the second highest score in her school. Also she worried about her further how they were gonna pay the fees ₹27000.
I heard long back this child's mom is not well and her father lost his job a couple of months before. I wondered even in this tough situation how she was able to finish with a good score. While listening to the conversation of that grandma God moved me to help and motivate her with a small support for her studies. I asked her granny to tell them to come to church this Sunday. This girl came with her father to church and attended the whole service. At the end I called and honored with a shawl (our traditional) and gave ₹5000 as a small support for her studies. I was amazed in the evening when I got a picture message from Gayathri my wife -

I have met so many friends in my life. No one has helped me. A friend whose face I do not know has helped my daughter study. May his family live long. Kovalam Bus Stand Apollo Medical 1st floor has a prayer of Jesus. He has helped my daughter.
