Trust Comes Before the Commitment!
Trust takes time. And that's normal.
In my experience with coaches and practitioners, trust doesn't come from giving away a free session or constantly telling people what you can do for them.
It comes from being genuine about what you know, what you can help with, and where you can't.
If someone has a question, answer it.
If you can help, tell them how.
If you can't, be honest about it.
I've had people come back to me every few weeks with a new question about coaching, their practice, or their business.
They weren't ready to commit.
And that's okay too.
I would help where I could, but I'd also make the boundary clear:
If you want me involved in building your project or business, you need to commit as a client.
That's not about creating pressure.
It's about creating clarity. It's about building Trust.
A genuine conversation can build confidence.
A useful answer can build credibility.
And knowing where your involvement begins and ends builds assurance.
People work with you when they feel understood—not when they feel constantly pushed towards a service.
Don't rush the commitment.
Build the trust that makes the commitment meaningful.
