जसको मन मसंग कैलै जोडिन मानेन !

पछाडि छन्
मलाई जलाउने विधिबारे
छलफल गरिरहेका आफन्तहरू
जसले मलाई चलाउने विधिबारे
कहिलै छलफल गरेनन् !

धेरै छन् यो मलामीको भिडमा
जो मौन छन,
कसैले चलन निभाइरहेका छन !
कसैले जलन निभाइरहेका छन् !

कतिले मलामी आउन पाइन
भन्ने सन्देश पठाएका छन् !
ती तिनै हुन्
जो जिऊँदो हुन्जेल आउन नै चाहेनन् !

म सोंचिरहेछु-
लाश बनेपछि यति प्यारो हुने मानिस
सास हुन्जेल किन प्यारो नहुने होला ?!

नभन्नुहोला है,,
जिऊँदो हुन्जेल त
कहाँ बोल्न सकिंदो रहेछ र
बेबारिसे मरिन्छ कि भन्ने डरले पनि !
मरियो हजुर शानदार मरियो,
बाँचुन्जेल जसरी बाँचे पनि !

खोई त हजुरको फुलबुट्टे श्रद्धान्जली ?

CM Inaugurates Key Infrastructure Projects in Gangtok to Boost Public Safety and Services

Gangtok, July 26: Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay inaugurated multiple public infrastructure projects in and around Gangtok aimed at enhancing safety, financial accessibility, and law enforcement services.

The Chief Minister inaugurated a newly constructed foot overbridge near Holy Cross School, Tadong. The overbridge is expected to ease pedestrian movement and reduce the risk of road accidents in the busy area, particularly benefiting students and parents.

In Daragaon, he inaugurated a new branch of the State Bank of Sikkim, which will cater to the financial needs of the local community and support their economic well-being.

Additionally, a newly established police outpost at Deorali was also inaugurated to strengthen local law enforcement and ensure the safety and security of residents in the region.

“These new developments reflect our commitment to public safety, convenience, and community welfare,” the Chief Minister shared through his official page.

सिटिजन एक्सन पार्टी – सिक्किम, गत २२ जुलाई २०२५ का दिन गान्तोक कृषि भवन नजिक एक युवक, स्व. कल्याण राईलाई गरिएको हत्यालाई अत्यन्तै दुःखद, निन्दनीय र अमानवीय ठान्दछ। लेबोङ, दार्जिलिङ निवासी स्व. राई सिक्किममा केहि अघिसम्म,एक निजी कम्पनीमा कार्यरत थिए। यति क्रूर र रहस्यमय ढंगले भएको उनको जीवनको अन्त्य सम्पूर्ण समाज र मानवताका लागि गम्भीर चिन्ताको विषय बनेको छ।

सिक्किम, जुन विविध जाति, भाषा, धर्म र संस्कृतिको साझा फूलबारी हो, आज अराजकता, डर, हिंसा र अपराधको अँध्यारोमा डुबिरहेको कटु यथार्थतिर हामी आँखा चिम्लेर बस्न सक्दैनौं।सिक्किम शान्त राज्य ठानेर,जाति-भाषि समान ठानेर परिवारको पेट पाल्न आएका,उनको परिश्रमले परिवार पालिएको थियो होला।सिक्किम पहिला जस्तो शान्ति अब रहेन। हत्या, बलात्कार, चोरी, डकैती, युवाहरूको सन्देहास्पद मृत्यु तथा खोला-बगरमा भेटिने शवहरू यी सबै घटनाहरूले राज्यको प्रशासनिक र कानुनी संरचनामाथि गम्भीर प्रश्न खडा गरेका छन्।

जब कानूनका रक्षकहरू राजनीतिक सत्ताका अनुचर बन्न बाध्य पारिन्छन्, तब अपराधीहरू संरक्षण पाउँछन् र निर्दोषहरूले मृत्युबाहेक अरु केही पाउँदैनन्। पुलिस प्रशासन पूर्ण रूपमा स्वतन्त्र नभएसम्म न्यायको आशा केवल भ्रममा परिणत हुन्छ।

३५–३६ वर्षका जवान युवकलाई ७६ वर्षीय वृद्धले हत्या गर्नु केवल अकल्पनीय मात्र होइन, अनुसन्धानमै प्रश्न खडा गर्ने अत्यन्तै गम्भीर विषय हो। के त्यो घटना सतहमा देखिएजस्तै थियो? वा त्योभन्दा गहिरो षड्यन्त्र लुकेको छ? यस्तो संवेदनशील घटनाको निष्पक्ष, वैज्ञानिक र विस्तृत अनुसन्धान अपरिहार्य छ।

सिक्किममा आज जे भइरहेका छन्, ती राज्यको स्वास्थ्यका लागि शुभ लक्षण होइनन्। यहाँ अब थानाको बलैंशी भित्रै हत्याको योजनाहरू बुनिन्छन्, निर्दोषहरूलाई पैसाको शक्तिमा अपराधी देखाउने षड्यन्त्र हुन्छ। मुखुण्डो लगाएका गुण्डाहरूको संरक्षणमा निर्दोषमाथि खुकुरी प्रहार हुँदा पनि, अपराधीहरू कानूनी दायरामा आउन सकेका छैनन्। हाम्रा युवा नेताहरू अझै पनि अस्पतालको शैयामा मृत्युसँग संघर्ष गरिरहेका छन् ।यो दृश्य सम्पूर्ण सिक्किमवासीका आँखाअगाडि छ।
स्व. कल्याण राईको शोकसन्तप्त परिवारजनप्रति सिटिजन एक्सन पार्टी–सिक्किम हार्दिक समवेदना प्रकट गर्दछ। हामी विश्वास गर्छौं,सत्यको उज्यालो ढिलो भए पनि उजागर हुनेछ र दोषीहरू कानूनी कठघरामा उभिएर उचित दण्ड पाउनेछन्। दिवंगत आत्माको चीरशान्तिको कामना गर्दै, हामी सम्पूर्ण सिक्किमवासीलाई न्यायका पक्षमा जागरुक, संगठित र बुलन्द आवाज उठाउन आह्वान गर्दछौं।

Government ITI Gyalshing in coordination with Nikyuti Kendra under Skill Development Department organised Job Mela at its own campus.

Rozgar Mela Held at Government ITI Gyalshing under Sikkim INSPIRES Program

Gyalshing, 25th July 2025 – The Skill Development Department, Government of Sikkim, through its Niyukti Kendra, successfully organized a Rozgar Mela (Employment Fair) at Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Gyalshing on 25th July 2025. The event was conducted as part of the flagship Sikkim INSPIRES initiative and the Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela (PMNAM) for the month of July.

The Rozgar Mela aimed to bridge the gap between skilled youth and industry employers by promoting local employment, enhancing apprenticeship engagement, and fostering meaningful industry-institute collaboration.

Industry Participation

A total of 12 reputed establishments from diverse sectors participated in the fair, offering employment and apprenticeship opportunities to local talent. The participating organizations included:

Turnout and Outcomes

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 69 candidates, comprising trainees from various Government ITIs as well as aspiring job seekers from outside the institute system.

A total of 40 candidates were selected for various job roles and apprenticeship programs offered by the participating companies.

This outcome reflects the growing demand for skilled manpower in the region and the readiness of local youth to engage in meaningful employment pathways.

The next series of Rozgar Melas under the PMNAM initiative are scheduled to be held in August 2025 at:

Conclusion

The Rozgar Mela at Government ITI Gyalshing reaffirmed the state's commitment to empowering youth through skill development, while also encouraging industry stakeholders to tap into the growing pool of trained talent in Sikkim. The event marked a significant step towards building a more inclusive and resilient local workforce ecosystem.

Recent sightings of the Himalayan Black Bear have been reported near Ranga 3 Range (Army Area) in Chungthang, North Sikkim. To ensure public safety, authorities have advised locals to be vigilant and avoid taking early morning or evening walks in the area where the bear was spotted. This precautionary measure aims to minimize potential encounters between humans and the bear, reducing the risk of conflicts .

MP Indra Hang S***a Meets Minister of State for Defence, Submits Request to Expedite Alternative Highway to North Sikkim

New Delhi, 25 July 2025:
Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Sikkim, Dr. Indra Hang S***a met Shri Sanjay Seth, Hon’ble Minister of State for Defence, at his residence in New Delhi and submitted a formal letter requesting urgent intervention to expedite the construction of an alternative highway to North Sikkim.

During the meeting, Dr. S***a highlighted the strategic, developmental, and humanitarian significance of the proposed route, stressing that the current connectivity between Gangtok and Zeema via Chungthang and Lachen remains highly vulnerable to frequent landslides, weather-related disruptions, and difficult terrain.

Dr. S***a informed the Minister that he had recently held a detailed discussion with the Director General of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) on the challenges surrounding road infrastructure in North Sikkim. While the BRO has shown readiness to advance the proposal, he emphasized that timely support and guidance from the Ministry of Defence would be crucial in accelerating approvals and ex*****on in coordination with the State Government.

“In its current state, the road to North Sikkim remains fragile, often cutting off local communities from essential services and affecting defence preparedness,” said Dr. S***a. “An alternative highway will ensure year-round access, boost regional development, and serve as a critical strategic asset in view of the sensitive border areas nearby.”

Dr. S***a expressed his hope that the Ministry of Defence will prioritize this matter and take necessary steps to initiate the project at the earliest.

THANKSGIVING CEREMONY AT AASHIRBAD CHILDREN HOME IN HONOUR OF NHPC & DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION, GYALSHING

The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), under the Women, Child, Senior Citizen & Divyangjan Welfare Department (WCSC&DWD), organised a Thanksgiving Ceremony at Aashirbad Children Home, Dentam, to express heartfelt gratitude to the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), Rangit, for their generous CSR support. The event recognised the positive impact NHPC’s contributions have made in improving the lives of children residing in the institution.

The programme began with a traditional Tilak ceremony, followed by a warm welcome from the President of Rose Merry Punch Club and a welcome song by the children. DCPO Gyalshing extended sincere thanks to NHPC and the District Administration for their continued support. Chief Guest Shri Tenzing D. Denzongpa, District Collector-cum-Magistrate, Gyalshing, graced the occasion along with officials from the District Administrative Centre (DAC), SDM, SDPO, CWC members, and others.

Shri Shrawan Kumar Mishra, General Manager & HoP, and Shri Praveen Subarna, DGM (HR), NHPC Rangit, were felicitated for their efforts in supporting child welfare.
