Eknath Oraskar Elected President of Adarsh Yuvak Sangh Saligao.

At the general body meeting held today in Saligao, Eknath Oraskar was unanimously elected president for another two-year term. Adarsh Yuvak Sangh Saligao, a sports and cultural club from Saligao, is doing exceptional work in the field of sports, music, and even running Sanskar Varg for younger children. Other members elected are: Vice President: Kashinath Khandolkar and Nandakishore Achrekar; General Secretary: Satchit Gaokar; Treasurer: Nilesh Kudnekar; Joint Secretary: Krishna Tuenkar; Joint Treasurer: Vaman Tuenkar; Sports Secretary: Anil Korgaokar; Cultural Secretary: Saaesh Gaonkar; Team Managers: Vasudev Mapari and Vasudev Kerkar; Legal Advisor: Dipak Navelkar; Auditor: Sandip Gaad Kerkar. Executive Members include Vivek Achrekar, Rajesh Kerkar, Kunal Tuenkar, and Laxmikant Kinolkar. The president thanked the members for having faith in him for the last 18 years.

Tension at Dhuler Hospital After Taxi Driver's Death.

After the death of a taxi driver Sudesh Joshi, a private hospital issued a bill of ₹47,000 to the family despite the absence of doctors. The family refused to take possession of the body, leading to tension at the private hospital in Dhuler Mapusa. The situation further escalated as a large number of taxi drivers gathered at the spot.
