Meerut. The ongoing case of purchase of gold worth one crore rupees between two renowned businessmen of the city is taking a new turn every day. Bhagwan Book Depot owner Praveen Sharma and Raghunandan Jewelers owner Tamvay Aggarwal are filing a complaint in the police station besides accusing each other in this matter. Gold deal worth Rs 1 crore started with a WhatsApp call due to illegal cash payment. After the young man absconding with fake identity and gold, this matter has now reached many departments, in which the possibility of Bihar connection in money laundering is also being expressed. Due to which it is being speculated that now ED, Income Tax Department, GST, BIS and Police can also investigate this matter. Because if we look at this whole matter from the beginning, Raghunandan Jewellers' owner Tamvay Agarwal says that on Wednesday afternoon, a person named Krishna made a WhatsApp call to Raghunandan Jewelers and asked him to buy gold jewelery worth about one crore rupees and gave the jewelery to his nephew saying that he could not come to the showroom himself Was sent to showroom for collection.Who had liked about 6:30 hundred grams of gold jewellery. When it came time for payment, Krishna expressed his inability to make online payment and asked to send cash payment. About half an hour later, four youths reached the showroom, out of which two were residents of Meerut and two were said to be from Muzaffarpur in Bihar. Together they had deposited Rs 1 crore in cash. After this the liked jewelery was handed over to the alleged nephew. But as soon as the youth came out with the jewellery, the four youths who had given the cash suddenly started stopping the payment. He claimed that he had not come to buy gold, but had given cash only to show the entry of Rs 1 crore in his bank account. In this case, on Thursday, Bhagwan Book Depot owner Praveen Sharma, while giving a statement to the media, had alleged that on Wednesday afternoon, he had gone with Pushpendra to Raghunandan Jewelers to buy jewelery with Rs 1 crore. When he went there and found out that Krishna ji had called, Tamvay Aggarwal told him that the matter was over, please get the payment done. Praveen Sharma had told that he had given two bags worth fifty lakh rupees to Tamvay Agarwal. Who gave it to Rajveer present there to count on the payment machine. But when he did not receive the MP transfer message, he refused to transfer the payment. He had alleged that he had come to know about the presence of Krishna Jewelers located in Karol Bagh, Delhi. Tamvay Aggarwal, claiming to be his acquaintance, after taking payment of Rs 1 crore from Praveen Sharma, did not give the gold jewelery to him and gave it to someone else. He further alleged that he was cheated by Tamvay Aggarwal of Rs 1 crore and he will file a case against the owner of Raghunandan Jewelers in this matter. Till now, the decision as to who among the two businessmen is right and who is wrong in this matter will be taken only after investigation. But till now this case has raised many questions, because the government rules in the sale of gold jewelery are very strict. According to which only BIS certified hallmarked jewelery can be sold. It is against the rules to sell hallmarked jewelery without the bill and verification of the buyer. In large transactions, buyer's identity, bill, GST and income tax information is mandatory. In such a situation, the question is arising whether taking Rs 1 crore in cash was within the rules and why the person taking the jewelery was not verified. If sources are to be believed, Raghunandan Jewelers has sold 600-650 grams of gold for Rs 1 crore in cash. Now according to Praveen Sharma, he had given money only for bank entry. Hawala connection is being suspected in this situation. Only after investigation will it become clear who is the real victim of the fraud and who is the culprit? At present, possibilities of converting black money into white through Hawala are also being expressed in this matter. Due to which it is also being speculated that both the businessmen have come under the scanner of five departments. Which include ED, Income Tax Department, GST Department, Bureau of Indian Standards, Police Administration. If this happens as per the rules of selling gold, then along with the truth of this fraud case, some big revelation can also be made.
