I’m obsessed with your unique designs ever since I got introduced to your work! I love how your designs & the fabric you use especially this Ilkal, unique to the state I now call home, defines your work. If you guys in Bengaluru want to check her work in person, she’s exhibiting in Bengaluru next week so do keep an eye out and check these in person!

As for me, I’m still keeping the ethnic feel alive this Rakhi, but in my own style 🖤♥️🎴

It started with curiosity….

I seldom speak about my new jewelry purchases, but this one is special. It’s special because it’s built from the scratch, personalized for me, as I wanted to wear it. I’m so tired of wearing made to wear pieces readily available, most of which doesn’t even match my style. So yes, this piece I’m wearing, started with curiousity, which eventually culminated into one of my most beautiful coveted everyday piece.

Set in 3Carat Vivid-Green Marquise lab grown diamond setting & gold, created by Not Red , this ring took us almost 3 months to design & finalise. From the way the snake trailed along the body of the diamond to the way the head and tail of the snake fiercely protected the diamond, getting a hand drawn render to life wasn’t as easy as we thought, but it became possible.

What I coveted became mine.

And to celebrate this, I conceptualized a shoot that is my interpretation of my ring. My desire to make the this design happen, with gentle persuasion, to culminate to what I now wear everyday.

And the final result? Just as my final image, the way the head of my snake reflects on a pool of green diamond forever ♾️

To obtain what you felt, that you felt shouldn’t be yours to have

To covet something, that piqued your curiosity every living hour,

Something so beautiful…

Then came in the gentle persuasion, that whispered into your ears …

You started to believe, maybe, you could try it

After all, you now had the support..

But there were moments of hesitation

You were consumed with the thought…

Eventually you gave in to your lust

You succumbed to it

Your greed

Nothing made sense

And you caved in

There was no undoing it…

You could feel the pleasure by getting what you wanted

And you felt it transform you

You shed the older version of yourself

And were left to deal with your consequences.

A little old-world romance, a lot of craftsmanship, and an evening that was basically my kind of therapy — bags, dressing up and a little escapism. ✨

Spent the evening at Hidesign new Indiranagar store celebrating EPOQUE — a collection that feels timeless but still has that I need this immediately energy.

The space? Gorgeous.
The bags? Dangerous for my bank account. 😭
The whole evening? Very much main-character coded. 🖤

I love pieces that don’t just complete an outfit but actually become the outfit — and EPOQUE definitely understood the assignment.

Black, but make it unforgettable 🖤

A few months back MODO CALDO customised this piece for me, it was supposed to be a crop blouse but based on my comfort level, they added an extension, something that I feel comfortable wearing! On a whim Romi Thokchom and I decided to do our crazy experiments with hair & makeup and this outfit, paired with these super comfortable heels from The Miraki by Mayuri Chamaria felt like a perfect match! I’d wanted comfortable platform heels that gave my petite frame some height, without making me feel like I was putting my legs through hell. These heels are surprisingly so comfortable, I love the metallic color, plus works well with all my dresses and my ethnics! Talk about imagine Banarasi & this heels 👠

Romi Thokchom 🦋ROMI🦋 as usual came through, when Romi meets me, she only sees my face as a canvas 😂 And I for one am so excited to see moodboard visions come to life when the two of us sit together, with the intent to create! Romi, see you tomorrow 💪🏻😁

I don’t know her personally, and I cannot imagine how she and her family are doing right now. Fighting a deadly sickness and tackling towering hospital bills … If you can help in any possible way, please do. She’s too young… and I cannot imagine the burden of a 30Lakh hospital bill… please let’s help her.
