Mendhar, June 6: A certificate distribution programme was organized at The Art of Living Mendhar,
Vibha Oberoi, Poonch district art of living coordinator and skill centre organiser

Art of Living founder Gurudev SriSri Ravi Shankar ji and all are celebrating 45 years 45 of Art of Living,...Gurudev's vision is that the youth should be violence-free and non-violent.

In the presence of local administration , Tehsildar Rahul Basotra ji , Hr. Sec. Boys Principal Saleem Shah ji SI Suran Singh ji officials and prominent members of the community.
During the programme, certificates were awarded to students who successfully completed vocational training courses in Mobile Repairing and Electrician trades.

The event recognized the efforts and achievements of the trainees and encouraged them to utilize their newly acquired skills for self-employment and career advancement.
Speaking on the occasion, the guests emphasized the importance of skill-based education in empowering youth and enhancing employment opportunities. World Environment Day Observed with Plantation Drive in Mendhar

Mendhar, June 5: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the BJP organized a plantation drive under the theme "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" at Ari Shamshan Ghat in Mendhar constituency. The programme was held under the chairmanship of BJP District Vice President Ranjeet Sharma.

Party leaders, workers, and local residents participated enthusiastically in the drive and planted saplings to promote environmental conservation and increase green cover in the area. Speakers highlighted the importance of protecting nature and encouraged people to plant and nurture trees as a responsibility towards future generations.

Organizational Meeting Held at BJP Office Poonch to Review Preparations for Upcoming Programmes

World Environment Day Celebrated with Plantation Drive at Sakhi Maidan

Mendhar//June 5: On the occasion of World Environment Day, a plantation drive was organized today at Panchayat Sakhi Maidan in Tehsil Mendhar. The programme was led by Er. Wajid Bashir Khan Tickoo, BJP leader and Executive Officer, Waqf Board District Poonch.

During the drive, a large number of saplings were planted with the aim of promoting environmental conservation and raising awareness about the importance of a clean and green environment. Local residents, social activists, and volunteers participated enthusiastically in the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Er. Wajid Bashir Khan Tickoo emphasized the need for collective efforts to protect nature and combat environmental challenges. He urged people, especially the younger generation, to plant more trees and contribute towards preserving the ecological balance.

عالمی یومِ ماحولیات پر ضلع پولیس پونچھ کی ضلع بھر میں شجرکاری مہم

مینڈھر، 5 جون: عالمی یومِ ماحولیات کے موقع پر ضلع پولیس پونچھ نے ماحولیاتی تحفظ اور پائیدار ترقی کے عزم کو دہراتے ہوئے ضلع کے تمام پولیس یونٹس اور اداروں میں شجرکاری مہم کا انعقاد کیا۔
مرکزی شجرکاری پروگرام ڈسٹرکٹ پولیس لائنز (DPL) پونچھ میں منعقد ہوا، جہاں سینئر سپرنٹنڈنٹ آف پولیس (SSP) پونچھ شافکت حسین جے کے پی ایس نے دیگر سینئر پولیس افسران کے ہمراہ پودے لگا کر ماحولیات کے تحفظ اور ماحولیاتی توازن کے فروغ کا پیغام دیا۔
اس موقع پر پولیس افسران اور اہلکاروں نے بھرپور جوش و خروش کے ساتھ حصہ لیا اور ضلع بھر کے پولیس تھانوں، پولیس چوکیوں، دفاتر، رہائشی کالونیوں اور دیگر پولیس تنصیبات میں بڑی تعداد میں پودے لگائے۔ اس مہم کا مقصد ماحولیاتی شعور کو فروغ دینا، سبزہ بڑھانا اور قدرتی وسائل کے تحفظ کے حوالے سے اجتماعی ذمہ داری کے احساس کو اجاگر کرنا تھا۔
تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے افسران نے ماحولیات کے تحفظ کی اہمیت پر زور دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ شجرکاری موسمیاتی تبدیلیوں کے منفی اثرات سے نمٹنے، فضائی آلودگی میں کمی لانے، حیاتیاتی تنوع کے تحفظ اور آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے صحت مند ماحول کی فراہمی کا مؤثر ذریعہ ہے۔
ضلع پولیس پونچھ نے عوام سے بھی اپیل کی کہ وہ شجرکاری مہمات میں بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لیں اور اپنی روزمرہ زندگی میں ماحول دوست طرزِ عمل اختیار کریں۔ پولیس نے ماحولیاتی تحفظ کے اقدامات میں بھرپور تعاون جاری رکھنے کے عزم کا بھی اظہار کیا۔
ضلع بھر کے تمام پولیس یونٹس میں یہ شجرکاری مہم کامیابی کے ساتھ منعقد ہوئی، جو ضلع پولیس پونچھ کے ایک سرسبز، صاف ستھرے اور پائیدار ماحول کے قیام کے عزم کی عکاس ہے۔

Grand Welcome Accorded to Pujya Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj at Ancient Hanuman Temple, Mendhar

A grand and warm welcome was accorded today to Atal Akhara Peethadheeshwar, Rajguru, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Pujya Shri Shri 1008 Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj by devotees and local residents at the Ancient Hanuman Temple, Mendhar.

Addressing the gathering, Swami Ji highlighted the significance of the Shri Shiv Mahapuran Katha, which is scheduled to be held from June 6 to June 14, 2026, at Krishna Ghati, Poonch. He stated that the Shiv Mahapuran is not merely a religious event but a divine source of spiritual wisdom that guides humanity towards a righteous and meaningful life.
