🎬 THAAPI - Releasing Worldwide on 16th October!
Producer Amanpreet Singh met renowned Kabaddi player Randeep Kaur Khaira, who has made her mark in both Circle Style and National Style Kabaddi, earning accolades and medals, including at the Asian Games.
The meeting centred on a shared vision for the future of women’s Kabaddi, creating equal opportunities for female athletes, encouraging greater participation, and ensuring that women players receive the recognition, support, and platforms they truly deserve.
For Thaapi, this journey goes beyond filmmaking. It is about celebrating the spirit of Kabaddi, recognising the athletes who dedicate their lives to the sport, and initiating meaningful conversations that can help strengthen women’s Kabaddi.
Randeep also shared her thoughts on the film’s trailer, highlighting how deeply its story resonates with her roots and reflects the realities, struggles, and journey of female Kabaddi players.
Because talent knows no gender, and every player deserves an equal opportunity to shine.
