Our country is progressing but the change in people's thinking is yet to come. It is possible that our India may have become independent but women are yet to get their freedom.
Now some people will say that we have given you the freedom to go out anywhere, no matter what the hour is, to go out at night.. Yes, we have got the freedom to go out after paying the price of our lives. If today a girl leaves her house to do a job then she should accept that this could be her last day. Because how do we know what is going on in the minds of the people who meet you at the workplace?
Where are those people who say after a r**e that the girl must have worn short clothes, she must have been roaming outside at night. What was her mistake, she was fulfilling her responsibility as a doctor And for this reason he had to stay in the hospital at night.
In real sense, those men have got freedom to look at us as a thing for whom girls are just a thing to be used. They also have the freedom to make all evidence disappear to save the culprit and they can threaten the life of all the other people who are supporting them.
Now I cannot even tell the girls to try to protect themselves because if 10 men come across them then where will they save themselves?
I have been hearing all this since I was a kid and even today the same thing is being repeated. From this it becomes clear that it will take some time for all this to end but it is even more saddening to know that even after so many cases there is no law that can immediately punish the rapists. People were demanding similar justice for the Nirbhaya case too, but it took years for the rapists to be punished even when everything was clear.
I can't even imagine how much pain she must have suffered. How much pain her parents must be going through. Kanha ji please give more and more strength to her family....And she should get justice as quickly as possible
