In a major relief for India’s energy security, Iran has reportedly allowed Indian-flagged tankers to transit the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.

The development comes after high-level diplomatic talks between India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi. While vessels linked to the US, Israel, and Europe continue to face severe restrictions in the waterway, India has secured an exemption to keep its energy lifelines open.

Important Note: While Indian government sources have confirmed the safe transit of vessels, an official statement from Tehran is still awaited, as the situation remains highly sensitive.

: Flying may soon get more expensive.

Air India Group has announced a fuel surcharge on domestic and international flights.

The move comes as jet fuel prices surge amid the West Asia conflict involving Iran.

From March 12, a ₹399 fuel surcharge will be added to domestic and SAARC flight tickets.

International routes will also see higher surcharges depending on the destination.

Jet fuel makes up nearly 40% of an airline’s operating costs, making airlines highly sensitive to oil price spikes.

Air India says the surcharge is needed to manage rising fuel costs.

Will the Iran conflict trigger a broader rise in global airfares?

: Big leadership change at IndiGo.

CEO Pieter Elbers has resigned with immediate effect.

The move comes months after the airline faced massive flight disruptions and delays across its network.

Co-founder and Managing Director Rahul Bhatia will now directly lead the airline’s operations until IndiGo announces a new CEO.

Bhatia founded IndiGo in 2006 and helped build it into India’s largest airline.

Elbers had joined IndiGo from KLM in 2022 and oversaw the airline’s international expansion.

Will founder-led leadership bring stability back to IndiGo?

: shortages are forcing some countries to take emergency steps.

A key reason: disruptions around the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important oil routes through which about 20% of global oil passes. When shipping slows there, fuel prices and supplies across Asia are quickly affected.

Here’s what’s happening:

🇻🇳 Vietnam is asking companies to adopt work-from-home policies to reduce fuel use.

🇵🇰 Pakistan has closed schools for two weeks and introduced a 4-day work week, with many employees working remotely to save energy.

🇧🇩 Bangladesh has shut universities and taken fuel-rationing steps to reduce pressure on its power system.

🇵🇭 Philippines is also encouraging companies to consider 4-day work weeks to cut commuting and fuel consumption.

When energy supply is disrupted, the impact goes far beyond petrol pumps — it reaches classrooms, offices, and everyday life.

If fuel shortages can shut schools and send millions back home, how fragile is the system our daily life depends on?

he book Fall, Don’t Fail is rooted in real-life experiences.
The characters are real — but their names are not.

It takes immense courage to write about people you’ve actually met, while still respecting their privacy. The author, Rohit Goel, has done exactly that — capturing the truth without defaming, and portraying people as they are, yet under different names.

When NAC asked him how people reacted when they recognized themselves in his “non-so-fiction” book, his answer was as honest as the story itself.

Watch now.

When Rohit Goel got fired, he didn’t play the victim, or blame the world. He decided to write a book — documenting every lesson, every scar, and every step forward.

Today, that book is a manual for both corporate professionals and leaders navigating uncertain times.

This isn’t just advice — it’s lived experience.
