The case marks Russia’s first recorded identical quadruplet birth, drawing attention from the global medical community.

All four babies developed from a single fertilized egg that split multiple times, sharing one placenta in a high-risk pregnancy.

The newborns weighed 1,360g, 1,400g, 1,570g, and 1,640g, measured 37–41 cm, and remained stable after delivery.

Only around 15 such cases exist worldwide, with most involving girls and no known genetic cause.

Her remarks come after investigations and satellite imagery analyses indicated that a missile strike destroyed the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls’ school in Minab on February 28, killing at least 165 people, many of them schoolchildren, in one of the deadliest incidents of the ongoing conflict. A growing wave of criticism is emerging over the U.S. role in the Gaza war—and Senator Bernie Sanders has been one of the loudest voices calling it out.

He points to the staggering human cost, with tens of thousands of Palestinians—many of them women and children—killed or wounded during the conflict.
