It gives MIND’s Lab Publishing
great pride and privilege to publish the handbook, “New-Age Fevers: Aid to Clinical Practice,”
authored by Dr. Hemant Thacker,
reflecting his extensive and rich clinical experience.

It is a matter of great honor for all of us that this book has been reviewed and includes a foreword by Dr. Farokh Udwadia, a towering figure in Indian medicine.

The book was formally launched by Dr. Farokh Udwadia at Breach Candy Hospital Trust, in the presence of a team of doctors, including dignitaries such as Dr. Shashank Joshi—a Padma Shri awardee and a prominent endocrinologist and diabetologist; Mr. Deepak Parekh, former Chairman of HDFC and current Chairman of Breach Candy Hospital, and his wife; M. P. Aggarwal, philanthropist and investor; and Shyam Ghia, industrialist, as well as senior consultants and office bearers of B*H.

This book, New-Age Fevers, is an earnest endeavor to address this gap by providing a credible, quick, and comprehensive reference handbook, with succinct and graphical presentations, tailored specifically to the needs of primary care physicians. It aims to bridge the critical knowledge gap in fever evaluation and management in everyday clinical practice.

We sincerely believe that this effort to bridge an important knowledge gap will fulfill its purpose by contributing meaningfully to better and more effective patient care.
