It gives me great pleasure to finally announce the release of our Dream Project "JAAGO ZARA - WAKE UP" that features over a 100 Women Achievers in Music from across the world. I am extremely grateful to Somesh Mathur and Justin-Uday Duo for supporting me in every moment of madness through seemingly impossible ventures that are made possible through sheer grit and determination. The spark for this project was triggered by a conversation with Felicity Wilcox in Tokyo when we discussed what we could do to highlight achievements of women in Music and the Lockdown in covid triggered of our imagination for a mammoth international collaborative effort. Special thanks to Loy Chacko Kiran Loy for all their unconditional support, Japjisingh Valecha for his lovely arrangements Nehal Parekh for the lovely artwork, Anil Wanvari for his support always and my better half Joe Rego for putting up with my craziness and always believing in me.
The song has won 60 Awards and Accolades through its journey through over a 100 festivals and provides a meesage for a new path for the world driven by women.
Deepest gratitude to all the wonderful women, musicians and technicians who were part of this collaboration for all their trust and co-operation. Thank you and see you all tomorrow at 10 am IST on the Indemus channel.
