The show, called Sur-Shetra, will air on Sahara One early next year and feature contestants from India and Pakistan. The show is essentially a competition, where participants will fight it out for the coveted position of Best Singer. Show will be shot in Dubai and will have singer, actor and music director Himesh Reshammiya as mentor for the Indian participants. Contestants from Pakistan will be mentored by singer Atif Aslam, who marks his TV debut with the show.
